We are eagerly awaiting hurricane Irma here. Well, not really. But I must say that she is indeed a perfectly formed, pretty one… you can see all her pretty red and pink colors with a bit of blue and green around the “eye” on TV.
(When I start talking like that, the man starts to roll his eyes at me. That happens a lot!)
Needless to say, staying here on the beach is not the best idea, so we are headed to a house in the fab city of Orlando that can accommodate us, the parents, and the 3 kitties. If I were like 12, I might even be excited about the close proximity to Disney and Mickey Mouse. Thank god I’m not 12.
The bright side? Irma gives me the opportunity to clean all the shit out of the freezer as we will be packing the cooler to take with us. Hey, might as well because all that’s left at the grocery store are Dandee hot dog buns and gallons of milk that no one will buy because it will spoil. We shall feast the next several nights on whatever freezer “surprises” we got.
Anyhoo, in today’s vlog (do people even use that term anymore?) I am talking all things “when a consult call goes wrong, so very wrong”. If you offer a service that costs a decent amount of money, you probably have gotten on the phone with a potential client at some point or another. And when you speak to people, it opens the door for really great connections, as well as ones that you swear belong to a different planet.
